SEA is pleased to provide you the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions. Each year we hold a Juried College Art Competition and Pitch Competition for Creatives in conjunction with the annual conference. In addition, throughout the year we collaborate with other organizations for additional competitions. Competitions are being reimagined for 2020-21. Stay tuned for more details.
Juried College Art Competition

The Juried College Art Competition is open to all college students. Entry deadline is usually near the end of January. A juror selects entries which then are displayed in the gallery during the Annual Conference. Winners are announced at the conference. A minimum of $800 in prizes is awarded.

Funding Pitch Competition for Creatives

Finalist Pitch date: TBD
Past entries have included photographers, graphic artists, theater start-ups, fashion designers, musicians, art representatives, and more. Competition has changed slightly starting last year. Participants will pitch for specific funding in specified amounts rather than pitching an entire business or idea.
