Brian Hanlon

Executive Director

 

Brian received his B.S. (1998) and MBA (2001) from DePaul University's Entrepreneurship Program, and his Juris Doctor (2004) from DePaul University's College of Law.  He joined North Central College faculty in 2006. He is an Associate professor, and in May 2011 he was named the College's second Coleman Foundation Professor of Entrepreneurship endowed chair.  Brian primarily teaches courses in Entrepreneurship and Business Law.

 

 

 

Amy Rogers

Director

 

Amy received her B.A. in Marketing from North Central College (1995). Prior to coming to SEA, she had experience in sales and marketing in the advertising industry.  Ms. Rogers also has a background in entreprneurship assiting her husband in both a for-profit and not-for-profit video production business.   Since 2002, Amy has overseen the coordination of the annual conference, development of regional events and additional programming, and the creation and implementation of a resources based website.  

 

 

 

Gary Ernst

Founder / Executive Director (Emeritus)

 

Gary received his BSBA (68) and MSMC (82) from Roosevelt University and his EdD (92) from Northern Illinois University.  He joined the NCC faculty in 1986 and immediately established the first course in entrepreneurship in 1987.  During his tenure at NCC he established the entrepreneurship major, Entrepreneurship Institute and Women's Business Network.  Gary retired from the College in 2011, but still teaches part-time at NCC.  While he is no longer involved in any management capacity with the SEA Program, his advisory role as a member of the SEA board is invaluable.
