ACTIVITIES
For 2020-21, we are looking at holding a virtual pitch competition and juried art competition either independently or in collaboration with other organizations. Stay tuned.
Additional Activities:
We are excited to provide additional activities both during the conference and as additional add-on opportunities. All activities listed here require additional registration unless otherwise specified. Please pay close attention to deadlines.

There are two competitions held in conjunction with the conference. Both are free to enter with your paid conference registration. For more details, please click on the corresponding link. (Link will be open later this summer)

Juried College Art Competition - Entry deadline, January 31st, 2021
Open to all college students. Selected entries will be displayed on-site at the conference. If selected as a finalist for the show, you will be required to attend the conference in order to participate in the show. A minimum of $800 in prizes will be awarded.

Funding Pitch - Entry deadline, January 31st, 2021
We have revised the Idea Pitch Competition for Creatives into a Funding Pitch. Rather than pitch an entire business idea, you can pitch for specific funding. Perhaps you would like funding to help pay your LLC filing fee or maybe you need a new piece of equipment for your DJ or photography business. The possibilities are endless.

Free and Add-On Activities:
Looking for additional opportunities to engage with Chicago's vibrant art scene? We are excited to partner with area artists and organizations to provide you with several unique to SEA options. Some of the activities require an additional fee and all have a capacity. More activities may be added as they become available. If you are registered for the conference, you will be notified of additional opportunities by email. A separate registration form is required. Register early as space is very limited. Transportation to the activity location is the responsibility of the participant. SEA will not be providing transportation. Details including information about directions and parking will be sent to those registered closer to the event date.
